The whole platform — every organization's database and media library — is protected by backups encrypted at rest, with a safeguard so you can never end up with zero backups.
Real encryption, not just a label
Each backup is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM: decrypting it also verifies its authenticity (auth-tag), so a tampered file is detected, not just a corrupted one.
Downloads never expose the raw file directly — they always go through a single-use token, served on demand. And there is an explicit safeguard so the last remaining backup of an organization can never be deleted by mistake.
